Bio: George Frost
Buckeye Automation Inc. - George Frost
- I have 30 years experience in the manufacturing, maintenance and engineering fields. I spent 13 years with a large Japanese firm, a manufacturer of white body components and fuel tanks for major Japanese auto makers, in equipment support, engineering and technical support. While with this company I gained experience in project management, engineering, design and real world machine build and troubleshooting as well as research and development of new technology. While with this employer I received a journeyman certificate as well as a 1 year certificate from Clark State College.
- I then spent 2 years with a local machine builder, as a controls engineer/project manager. During this time I gained confidence in dealing with customers and managing much larger projects as well as designing for new customers to meet their standards and build equipment that would fit any application.
- Then in 2003 I teamed up with Chris Frost to start Buckeye Automation Inc. and continued to help build it up to what it is today.
- Over the years I have worked with many different pieces of equipment such as: Nachi Robotics, Fanuc Robotics and drives, Motoman robotics, Honda robotics, OTC robotics, Yaskawa PLCs and drives, Mitsubishi PLCs and drives, Allen Bradley PLCs and drives, Omron PLCs, GEFanuc PLCs, Many different HMI applications including Visual Basic, AutoCAD and many more. I have worked in sales, project management, engineering, design and build as well as training for both former employers and Edison State Community College. I am very proud of my training and experience that I have received and believe it has made me capable of being a leader in my field.
